Drum roll… and its Prasenjit Sarkar from prasenjitsarkar.in who takes home the coveted award! It’s a stunning announcement for many who were expecting big names from Singapore, USA, Hong Kong to win the award — but NO. It’s Prasenjit from small town Durgapur and now based in Dubai to win this.
I had an opportunity of meeting Prasenjit on a flight from Dubai to Andal. “It’s not been an easy journey and I do not want to sound all preachy by saying that patience is the key. But something I definitely would like to say is : Stop procrastinating and get things done. You will either fail or succeed. There is no middle path. But either path will make you LEARN and that’s what is important at the end of the day.”
Prasenjit goes on — “After spending 19 years in field sales — From selling milk products to shops in rural Bihar to digital library resources targeting IIT’s, IIM’s, its been an enriching journey. But my true calling was only after I started learning the nitty gritty of Digital Marketing.”

A turnover of USD $100 bn plus in 2024 is just the tip of the iceberg for Prasenjit and his team of 45 partners (not employees as he says). “We have big plans of expanding virtually. I have always maintained 2 offices — one in my hometown of Durgapur and another in Dubai. We are no plans to invest any more on commercial space anywhere in the world. All thanks to Covid, the planet has finally woken up to the possibility of virtual work and me and my partners are always online for our present and future clients”.
Prasenjit promises a better longer interview the next time we meet — virtually of course and we say cheers with our glasses of champagne.
